My new novel, SNOOZE: A STORY OF AWAKENING, about lucid dreaming, astral projection, Bigfoot and a host of other supernatural topics, continues to make waves.
Enjoy this excerpt of Ingrid’s inspiring review:
SNOOZE is without doubt one of the best coming-of-age, awakening books that I have ever read, and it had me entranced from the beginning to the end. Unlike a lot of books in the YA genre, which while perfectly enjoyable, are nonetheless superficial, SNOOZE takes the reader on a magical mystery tour of astral projection, lucid dreaming, out of body experiences, levitation, telepathy … the list goes on, and all of this is interwoven with themes of bullying, isolation, grief, friendship and characters … you cannot fail to love … It would be impossible to do justice to this wonderful book in just one review … [S]uffice to say that I highly recommend it and love the notion that the Loch Ness Monster might really exist.

For those unfamiliar with my writing, or who only know about my bestselling nonfiction, this isn’t my first time around the novelistic bend—or off the fictional deep end.
Eric Hoffer Award-winning author Sean M. Poole described my debut novel, BEGINNER’S LUKE, for which I was offered a contract by a respected New York publisher I declined in favor of self-publishing, as “a transformational novel, a manic manual of self-discovery, self-invention and renewal.” Reader Views called BEGINNER’S LUKE “a modern-day ALICE IN WONDERLAND,” while Apex Reviews referred to it as “a mind-bending journey through the mind of the ultimate iconoclast.”
BEGINNER’S LUKE was a zany, dithyrambic hymn to the transformational power of the imagination. SNOOZE, by contrast, is a razor-sharp exploration and celebration of the supernatural in the form of an epic, coming-of-age tale of one extraordinary boy’s awakening to the world-changing reality of his dreams.
Decidedly sci-fi in its emphasis on the mysterious fringe, SNOOZE is also unmistakably literary—featuring memorable characters, engaging drama, an offbeat sense of humor, and breathless pacing that will stir you wide awake!
