Over the past few years, working almost exclusively with ink on paper, I’ve developed a unique method for painting with ink on paper I call One Brush Technique.
One Brush Technique employs a type of permanent ink that leaves a hard line after only a short period of contact with the paper, which means I have to work efficiently like the old fresco painters to achieve many of my effects.
As we move toward 2016, I’m pleased to offer twelve pieces painted using One Brush Technique in a bold new calendar: SOLAR FLARES: A YEAR OF SUN PAINTINGS BY SOL LUCKMAN.
Note: This calendar, as well as my other calendars on RedBubble, can be started at any month in any year—which means they never go out of style. 😉
I’m including the Fine Art America versions of these works below. A wide variety of merchandise—from fine art prints to duvet covers to shower curtains featuring these images—is available by clicking through. Where the originals are still available, they can be purchased here.
Enjoy checking out these pieces—and please share and comment!
Thanks for browsing my work—and Happy 2016!
